the hotel is near the u. s. consulate. it is within walking distance and even in the hot summer sun you can manage a walk. clean, neat and nice staff are a plus. i appreciated the Hampton being located where it is.
My room was poor. It was dark. there were stickers on the window reducing the light. it smelled of smoke, which I didn't like. you could smell it in the corridors too so it wasnt a one off.

the room was fully equipped.
i extended my stay by one day. the system still allotted my room to another guest. a cleaner came into my room with a master key. the dinner offered as compensation did not suit my taste.

some minor issues

difficult acunpleasant odour
The air conditioning was difficult to adjust. Not all buttons responded. also, a strange odor came from the toilet starting the second night. housekeeping only provided a small water bottle. Additional bottles seemed to annoy the staff when i asked for more. no one helped with luggage upon arrival, so i managed everything myself.
